We are seeking to recruit passionate Chefs with innovative ideas and enthusiasm for food creations to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, the selected candidates will be required to work in the various food outlets and operations throughout the Hotel.
Food preparation and production procedures have to adhere to our food quality standards. All Food Hygiene policies are to be followed and an open eye for wastages and Food cost is required at all time.

To qualify for these roles, candidates should:

  • have worked for at least one year within a Four / Five-Star Hotel or Restaurant/Outlet in a similar role
  • have experience in either one of the following, Larder, Hot Section, A la Carte
  • have good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • possess a positive working attitude, an independent mind-set and attention to detail
  • demonstrate creativity and be able to work with minimum supervision

Assistant Housekeeper

Dolmen Hotel is seeking to recruit an Assistant Housekeeper on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will support the Housekeeper in achieving and maintaining the standards of a four-star hotel at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the smooth running of the department in the absence of the Housekeeper.
  • Facilitate the coordination and requirements of the Housekeeping Department with other departments.
  • Monitor guests’ satisfaction throughout their stays and take appropriate steps and immediate corrective measures where defects or faults are identified.
  • Deal with all guests’ queries and requests swiftly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that proper cleaning levels and standards are maintained in the guestrooms.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Maintenance Manager to ensure proper organization and monitoring of preventive maintenance of rooms and public areas.
  • Monitor the performance of all the supervisory team members.
  • Ensure that all Housekeeping staff are well trained and have proper knowledge to fulfill their assigned responsibility in line with the hotel’s standards.
  • Monitor and control staffing and other resources to balance both budgetary requirements and customer needs.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety practices are followed at all times.

    Candidate Requirements:
  • Preferably with at least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Housekeeper in a 4-star hotel or Housekeeping Supervisor in a 5-star hotel.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guests’ needs, remaining courteous at all times
  • Knowledge of various chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork and customer service skills.

Sales Executive

A vacancy for the position of Sales Executive has arisen within the Dolmen Hotel on a full-time basis.

The selected candidate will report to the Director of Sales - Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events, and will represent the hotel to promote and sell its products and services in line with our mission and values.

Other responsibilities include: 

  •  Communicate with prospective guests, show them around hotel and sell hotel’s rooms and services;
  • Provide price quotations;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by establishing a friendly and professional rapport with clients;

Required experience and skills:

  • A minimum of two (2) years work experience in hotel sales;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Persistent;
  • Able to respond rapidly and correctly to customers.
